Job Description
Our client has a brand new opportunity for a Level 2 Field Service Technicianto join their team onsite in Springfield, MO and provide unparalleled technical support to 5+ stores on a weekly basis. This Technician will travel within a radius of 25 to 100+ miles daily, depending on the area and specific route, and is required to have a valid driver’s license. This resource will be provided with a company vehicle and tools necessary to complete work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Track and monitor issues, provide notes and feedback
- Understand AC / DC and backup power concepts
- Manage triage, troubleshooting, and resolution to client scope on IT equipment
- Document efforts, issues and resolutions, close cases / tickets daily
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1+ years of technical support experience
- A+ certification preferred - or must be obtained within first three months of employment
- Familiar with various operating systems (e.g., Windows OS, OSX, Linux / Unix)
- Insight to POS, PC, Printers, Thin Clients, AP's, Servers, Network switch equipment
- Experience desired in copper and fiber cabling and various terminating connectors
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must be self-motivated and have the capability to complete projects ahead of schedule
- Excellent time management and reporting skills
- Will occasionally work at heights of 20' to 25', lift equipment training provided
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
