Marine Service Technician

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Marine Service Technician to join us here at Cowtown USA Inc. In the shop/service department, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, new boat rigging, and installations of outbord motors (particularly jet engines), boat hulls, electronic systems and attachments, trolling motors, and other water vessels as needed.

Since we're a Legend SS, Blazer Boats, Shoal Runner, and RiverPro dealer that carries Mercury and Suzuki Outboard Motors, experience with inboard motors and those outboard motors is preferred but not required.

DUTIES:

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on boats and outboard motors
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, propellers, and electrical systems
• Install new equipment or systems as needed
• Follow technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs
• Work within a team and time frame to provide our customers quick and quality service without mistakes
• Assist with heavy lifting as required

REQUIREMENTS:

• Marine Experience preferred but not required

SCHEDULE:

• Tuesday though Friday: 8 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. (08:00 - 17:30)
• Saturday: 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. (09:00 - 13:00)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
