Job Description: Pure Green Farms is currently seeking a Second Shift Harvest and Pack Team Member II who is responsible to perform general labor and deep cleaning/sanitation tasks associated with growing and packaging leafy greens. This position is second shift and involves several additional duties and responsibilities that distinguishes it from the Harvest and Pack Team Member I, first-shift position. The highest standard of pride in work performance and customer order execution will be expected and required to set the stage for an efficient and productive, 1st shift arrival.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Conducts formal 5-hour workspace and equipment Deep Cleaning and Sanitation evolution at the end of every shift

· Unloading raw materials and loading finished goods

· Loading raw materials onto automated growing and packaging lines

· Case packing and palletizing

· Assist in first-line trouble shooting of machinery

· Special projects as assigned in support of customer demands/sales growth

Requirements:

· Self-motivated, reliable, punctual, open-minded, and positive attitude a must

· Ability and desire to perform and complete 10-hour work shifts

· Ability to adapt and to be responsive in the face of changing and evolving order demands

· Learning and following all food safety and quality policies and procedures

· Ability to make critical decisions quickly and repeatedly

· Must have manual dexterity

· Ability to make changes as needed without advance notice

· Former experience in factory setting/processing environment and/or demonstrated performance as Harvest and Pack Team Member I is a plus

Working Conditions:

· Working in refrigerated warehouse for prolonged periods where temperature averages 45 degrees

· Position requires sitting, standing, and walking on a regular basis for prolonged periods

· Must be able to lift 40 lbs

Education/Experience:

· Previous agricultural, warehouse or product process environment experience strongly preferred

· Forklift, tractor or farm equipment operator experience/training preferred

· Passion for agriculture and/or horticulture preferred'
