Zagula Law Office has an immediate opening for a legal secretary or paralegal possessing strong analytical and organizational skills. Also, strong time-management is necessary in order to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines and strict standards.
Job duties to include performing day-to-day searches of records at multiple courthouses, composing reports of the findings according to instruction and obtaining requested document copies. Candidate must be a strong communicator (both written and verbal) and answer to phone, email and text inquiries.
Must have excellent grammar and communication skills. Candidate will be required to demonstrate moderate computer and typing skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, email programs and internet browsers. Reliable transportation with a valid state driver's license will be required due to traveling to and from multiple local courthouses.
Our law office is very busy but is also a friendly and family oriented environment. Being a people person is important as is being a team player. Must love dogs.
The ability to learn, adapt quickly and multi-task are essential.
Working knowledge of real estate industry documentation and their effects against real property is a plus but not required.
