I seek a skilled and organized Legal Secretary to join my team. As a Legal Secretary, you will print and send correspondence, help with my email, download filed pleadings and print, upload pleadings to Clark County Court and to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. You will put binders together for new files, put in billing program new client information, and assist as your skills increase.
Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks will be essential in this role. I need assistance in staying organized. You will NOT be answering the phone as my business line is a cellular. I use Microsoft Word. I have prepared "cheat sheets" or documents that show how to file pleadings, and other administrative work. Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
After 90 days, a 5% raise would be offered and additional hours, possibly up to 40 hours per week.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.06 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
