Employment Litigation Section ~ Jefferson City
The Office of Attorney General has an opening for a Legal Secretary in its employment and trial practice section in the Jefferson City office. Qualified individuals should have excellent computer, organizational, clerical, telephone, and interpersonal skills. Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) is preferred, as is prior legal experience. Primary responsibilities include filing legal documents with courts, downloading documents and filing in the document management system, drafting correspondence and basic legal documents, and calendaring. Applicants must be able to exercise independent judgment, prioritize tasks in a busy office, handle multiple projects, and support multiple attorneys. Starting salary $40,811.61.
