SalaryOur law firm is seeking an experienced Billing Coordinator to join our growing firm.
The position is full-time and 100% remote. Hours can be flexible.
Responsibilities
- The Billing Coordinator works closely with assigned groups of attorneys to facilitate client billing according to established guidelines and attorney requests;
- Prepares prebills and distributes per attorney instructions;
- Reviews prebills for accuracy;
- Performs edits, text changes and transfers per attorney instructions and client guidelines;
- Generates related invoices;
- Responds to inquiries relating to billing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in billing department in a law firm;
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Self-motivated, exercise sound judgment, and possess excellent attention to detail; and
- Team player with strong communications skills and will be able to work effectively with other members of the Finance Department as well as all assigned attorneys and their clients.
Experience with the following is a plus
- E-billing programs (Tymetrix360, Serengeti Tracker, CounselLink, etc.)
- Bill4Time program
