Legal Assistant/Reception

We are seeking a Legal Assistant/Receptionist to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorney and staff business needs. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare / Organize / Index Court files daily
• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
• Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
• Track billable time for attorney and office 
• Record and store client information
• Reminder calls to clients before Court / Follow up email to clients after Court

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a legal assistant or other legal field
• Familiarity with calendaring and pleading indexing
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
