Duties:
- File and organize legal documents and correspondence
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
- Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars
- Maintain document management systems and ensure accurate and timely retrieval of information
- Assist with data entry and document preparation
- Transcribe dictations and prepare legal documents
- Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role in collection law is preferred
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using document management systems and other legal software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
