SalaryEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree related to the legal field or a minimum of one year experience in the legal field or related medical field.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; works well in problem-solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
- Ability to manage difficult and emotional customer situations; respond promptly to customer needs; respond to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.
- Coordinates and maintains specific attorney’s calendar and makes notes client contact conversations.
- Handling of all litigation information, filing of complaints, Provide first draft of motions, Discovery, Correspondence, and other legal documents for Mississippi.
- Communicate with clients, adverse parties (Defense paralegals and Defense attorneys), and court (Court Administrators, clerk’s office).
- Prepares correspondence memorandums for disbursements to clients and closes files after disbursement.
- Computer literacy - experience with Apple products is a plus
- Proficiency in English

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
