Leasing Professional

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for effectively implementing the leasing and marketing program, to promote the positive image of the apartment community and to assist management with resident programs and retention. Other duties include oversight and coordination of the orientation of new residents and assistance with performing office management and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assists apartment complexes with achieving and maintaining high occupancy rates.
• Maintains current information on all aspects of a community including size, special features, expiration of current leasing agreements and pricing.
• Provides a daily inspection of show apartments and model appearance.
• Handles all aspects of leasing apartments, including greeting prospective residents, touring the community, closing the sale, processing applications in a timely manner, typing leases, following up with prospects, obtains signatures for completion of leases/paperwork prior to move-in.
• Assists property management team with rent collection as needed via phone calls, visits, and resident follow up.

Experience, Education, Training, and Certifications:

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years minimum in customer relations and/or sales experience required.
• Leasingand/or administrative experience strongly preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
