Duties:
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in touring the property and viewing available units
- Provide information on rental rates, lease terms, and community amenities
- Conduct background checks and verify income and rental history of potential tenants
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are completed accurately
- Collect rental payments and deposits from tenants
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including conducting unit inspections
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and tenant interactions
Experience:
- Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to prospective tenants
- Knowledge of leasing contracts and ability to negotiate lease terms with tenants
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program regulations (if applicable)
- Experience in legal administrative tasks related to property leasing
- Familiarity with OneSite or similar software for property management
