We provide constant training through professional development software, Edge2Learn, as well as weekly training meetings with managers, and One-on-one training sessions. Primary responsibilities

· Lease! Whether via in person tour, virtual tour, phone or email inquiry, our prospects want to know that our community is their perfect new home, and we want them to sign a new lease ASAP!

· Consult prospects, residents, future residents, former residents, and other third parties on the contents of the lease, policies, procedures, ledger inquiries, and other relevant information that may be needed to make informed decisions about living here.

· Assist residents and management with various other tasks as they arise, such as coordinating resident retention events, logging in resident insurance information, and sending out renewal notices.

What you bring to us (requirements)

· An associates degree or higher is generally required, although exceptions may be made for those with experience selling or leasing real estate.

· Must be willing to work on Saturdays and Sundays. Typical Hours of Work: 9:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m Monday-Thursday, 9:45 a.m. -5:00 pm Friday and Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Schedule may vary according to the season.

· Ability to work in a high-stress environment

· Ability to work as a team

· Self-starter

· People person

· Must be able to meet the physical demands of the positions. You must be willing and able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds, as well as be able to provide in person walking tours of the community

· You will be required to take a course in Fair Housing Law and sexual harassment within their first week of employment.

What we bring you (compensation and benefits)

Hourly Pay: Your hourly pay will be $20/ hour. You are eligible for overtime pay, if applicable. You are also eligible for up to $215 in commission per apartment move in.

Vacation: You will be entitled to 1 weeks (40 hours) of vacation each calendar year, earned pro-rata as you work, which we look for you to take each year or it expires. All vacation must be preapproved by your supervisor, as well as scheduled three weeks in advance.

Sick Leave: You will also be entitled to 56 hours annual sick, safe, or personal leave, again earned pro-rata, paid annually if not taken. Scheduled personal leave can be taken in full or half-day increments. A doctor’s note should be provided for unscheduled sick days. It is your responsibility to contact your supervisor prior to your shift if you need to call in sick.

Health: One-Half of your insurance policy is covered by HIP Projects.

Holidays: Company holidays are Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the 4th of July. If you are scheduled to work those days (or work due to an emergency at the property), your pay rate will be 1.5 times your hourly rate for holiday hours worked, as coordinated with your supervisor.
