We're looking for a Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to join our growing Organizational Learning & Development team. This role's emphasis is in two areas: 1) facilitation of our learning and development programs, workshops, and courses, both in-person and virtually and 2) the coordination of learning and development experiences and offerings, including calendars, event registrations, and working with support team on logistics for in-person events. Success in role is someone who can facilitate organizational culture mission and vision as well as L&D topics and connects easily with learners in different leadership roles. This role may also help support broader L&D efforts, including development opportunities in the area of content creation.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery of our account's primary L&D in-person and virtual workshops and experiences
Keeps current with needed facilitator certifications in vendor content we deliver
Continuously develops strong facilitation and storytelling skills to drive their effectiveness in connecting learners to their impact on our culture, mission, and values as well as on business performance
Evaluating effectiveness and delivery of content via participant feedback, evaluative surveys, stakeholder feedback. etc.
Collaborating with field trainers in broad L&D efforts and strategy, including mentoring them
Support and/or conduct train the trainer sessions as needed
Supports and assists L&D content design as needed
Provide coordination support of our L&D workshops and offerings, including building and maintaining calendars, organizing and monitoring even registrations, and event logistics coordination with support team
Travel - this position includes up to 50% travel depending on business needs for in-person L&D workshops and courses; travel could be more than 50% / month in short term if program/business needs call for it
Collaborates with Organizational L&D team on future needs and direction and supports where needed for successful outcomes
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills
Ability to connect easily with people in different roles, including in engineering, maintenance and corporate support roles
Strong ability and drive to collaborate with others to deliver successful learner outcomes
1 - 3 years experience in delivering (and designing) learning and development content that aligns to an organization's culture, voice, and business needs
1 - 3 years of broad learning and development experience in industry and/or corporate setting
Ability to learn and understand environments of our learners and utilize common scenarios when delivering content
Facilitation credentials or certifications in FranklinCovey, Color Code, etc.
Experience and familiarity with Learning Management Systems like Workday
Excellent project management, problem solving, and organizational skills
Background or experience in logistics industry
Strong Microsoft Office skills - PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word especially; Smartsheet
Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development or similar preferred

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
