We are looking for a Lead/Manager/Senior Manager of Market and Operations Analyticswho will help MISO define and drive Market and Operations data strategy, in alignment with MISO key strategic priorities, and corporate data and analytics strategy. In this role, you will establish Market and Operations data analytics vision and applicable operating model to enable systematic evaluation of Market and operational performance and outcomes, identify market insights and enhancement opportunities by fostering close collaboration and partnership across various MISO functional areas, Independent Market Monitor (IMM), industry partners, vendors, and stakeholders.

As the Lead/Manager/Senior Manager of Market and Operations Analytics, you will lead a high performing team driving the development and adoption of data strategy operating model, discovering and communicating Market and operational insights through innovative business intelligence and visualization, and driving actions and improvements in a dynamic environment.

In one year as ourLead/Manager/Senior Manager of Market and Operations Analytics, you will know you were successful if you can:

• Develop and communicate Market and Operations data analytics vision and applicable operating model across organization.
• Establish close partnership with data and analytics teams to aid in building trusted, accessible, certified data infrastructure and repository.
• Build and mature business intelligence and analytics capabilities, platforms, and toolkit to monitor, trend, and visualize Market and Operations outcomes and performance to inform actionable data driven decisions.

We are looking for talented professionals who have:

1. At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
2. 8+ years of relevant work experience
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience managing teams and employee performance

We also prefer that you have:

1. A Master’s degree
2. Experience with leading team to adopt enterprise data and analytics processes, platform, and tools
3. Previous energy industry experience with wholesale electricity market, operations, Market and settlement systems

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
