The Leadership DevelopmentSolutions Designer position provides a critical impact player role to shape, design, and expand enterprise learning and development offerings for leaders across HP, Inc. Working at the intersection of strategy, design thinking, creativity, behavioral science, and adult learning theory, the position will drive the creation of development experiences to expand future ready leaders.
Responsibilities:
The Leadership DevelopmentSolutions Designerwill lead primary design, co-creation and execution for the global portfolio of Leadership Development experiences across the enterprise, from Directors to Executives. The key responsibilities for this role include:
Designs, creates, manages, and facilitates future ready leadership experiences.
Delivers impactful leadership learning experiences and engagement: Partners with the broader talent team and SMEs to advance HP’s Leadership Development and team strategy by assessing learning needs, identifying goals, and applying proven instructional methods to design effective, engaging, and integrated learning experiences across remote, hybrid, and in-person learning environments.
Utilizes design thinking, agile, futuring, and collaborative methods to ensure business impact and relevancy.
Closely partners with key stakeholders in the Talent & Learning organization and across HP.
Establishes clear, concise, and achievable strategies and plans that align with performance and business needs across the leadership population.
Applies a design mindset, principles, and practices to solve leadership opportunities.
Actively engages users, stakeholders, and partners throughout the process.
Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree; advanced university degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Typically 8+ years in a training development, design consultant, or equivalent role.
Typically 6+ years experience, including the management of multiple large projects.
Knowledge and Skills:
Design thinking and related digital and in-person whiteboarding tools
A proven track record of successfully collaborating with senior executives and building trusting and effective relationships with leaders across a global enterprise

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $130,000 to $140,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
