Lead Teacher, Head Start Program

We are seeking a Lead Teacher for our Head Start Program. This individual will implement a well-organized learning environment following a developmentally appropriate activity schedule

Responsibilities:

• Develop students from ages 3-5 years old individually and in small and large groups, touching on all developmental areas
• Create and Implement intentional lesson plans and post observations weekly
• Complete educational assessments
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• If Bachelor's Degree in another field 30 ECE credit hours required
• Knowledge of Head Start Program, Teaching Strategies Gold preferred
• Passionate about working with children
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
