Infant Lead Teacher

L&L Academy and Preschool is excited to welcome a new Lead Infant Teacher to our ever-growing team of passionate early childhood educators. Our center embraces children's natural curiosity and imagination to inspire within them an excitement to learn. This is done in an environment where learning unfolds through stimulating play, exploration, and curriculum.

Our Emergent Curriculum ensures that the children’s interest and experiences are always the inspiration for our lesson plans and activities. Through careful observation and communication, our teachers are trained to create their lesson plans and facilitate activities that will further the children’s curiosity while challenging them to reach their next milestone. Our lesson plans are designed to focus on each area of development, from cognitive & language, social- emotional, to fine & gross motor skills. Creative and engaging art, music, and sensory experiences are incorporated into each day to allow our students the opportunity to explore and manipulate new materials and experiences. Our teachers reference the age-appropriate Illinois Early Learning Standards when creating their lesson plans and include the standards that will be met through participation in each planned activity. We are proud to give our teachers the opportunity to express their passion by creating their own lesson plans and classroom curriculum.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $45,679.76 per year
