Lead Teacher:
The right candidate will be a loving and strong class leader, energetic, dependable, and passionate. In partnership with parents, the Lead Teacher will observe and assess the children's development, plan children's curriculum based on child development knowledge, design the learning environment, and implement and supervise developmentally appropriate learning activities.
The right candidate will be able to work indoor and outdoors, and engage in physical activity with children. Will be willing to learn and gain more knowledge through trainings. Will be CPR & First-aid certified, and pass a Level 2 background screening.
Director:
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to:
- Develop a curriculum and program: Child Care Directors work closely with the center’s teachers and staff, creating learning plans or programs to meet state and federal requirements and parent’s expectations.
- Oversee staff: Staff management is probably the most important task of a Child Care Director. They must interview, hire and train staff, making sure that all background and fingerprint checks have been conducted.
- Manage facilities: The Child Care Director must make sure that the facility is safe and well-stocked. That includes checking that safety equipment is available and working, removing hazards and ensuring the facility is always clean and orderly.
- Create a budget: The Child Care Director assist with managing the facility’s finances, which includes creating and working within a budget.
- Market the facility: There is much competition between daycare facilities, so the Child Care Director must have a marketing plan to promote awareness of the facility and its services.
- Meeting up with parents and teachers: A Child Care Director will meet with parents and teachers to keep parents up-to-date on their child’s development and progress, including discussing ways to address any learning or behavioral issues.

45-clock-hour Family Child Care Facility Training (below)
5 clock-hour Early Literacy and Language Development
First Aid Training Infant and Child (CPR)
Level II Background Screening
The 30 clock hours are divided into five training courses:
1. Family Child Care Facility Rules and Regulations
2. Health, Safety, and Nutrition
3. Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect
4. Child Growth and Development
5. Behavioral Observation and Screening

Qualifications
Must be willing to learn and gain more knowledge through trainings
High school or equivalent (Required)
Responsibilities
Create and maintain lesson plans
Work with other teachers to implement the overall curriculum
Maintain related parent, student, and teacher communications
Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child
Must have 45 DCF clock hours
Must be able to complete background screening
