WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an Apparel & Accessories classification SOURCING MANAGER with a passion for collaborative and analytical problem solving. You will bring an interest in the manufacturing source base, negotiation and collaboration, and strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Ideal candidates will be able to balance working strategically while bringing a detail-oriented approach to analysis and problem solving. You'll enjoy interacting closely with global teammates and working cross-culturally. The ideal candidate will also bring a curious mentality, proactive approach, and an understanding of the role sourcing plays in the end to end supply chain.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role you will lead and drive mid to long term classification and supplier sourcing strategies that will drive profitable and sustainable growth. You'll lead adoption and alignment to the sourcing direction throughout the course of the season, being accountable for delivering on Nike's foundational sourcing goals of capability, sustainability, profitability, and on-time delivery. You'll drive supplier health through utilization and aligning source to strategy with the ultimate goal of enabling profitable delivery of marketplace demand. You'll also lead critical initiatives and process improvements within the sourcing function and in collaboration with multiple cross-functional partners. You'll build strong internal and external relationships throughout manufacturing and with Demand and Supply Management counterparts.
A typical day/week includes participating in supplier and product sourcing strategy conversations, analyzing the seasonal alignment to strategy, and working cross-functionally to find opportunities to improve seasonal source assignments.

In addition to working throughout the sourcing organization, you'll work closely with product creation, demand/supply management, Partner Management and Delivery Excellence, Materials Sourcing, and Nike suppliers.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience (supply chain, product or manufacturing). 3 yrs additional in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated collaboration and cross-functional influencing skills and ability to resolve conflict. Respects diverse cultures and appropriately drives collaboration and partnerships with our Partners.
- Penchant for compromise and assessing tradeoffs that benefit Nike's global goals.
- Ability to lead projects from conception to socialization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including superior presentation, influencing and storytelling skills. Ability to engage and build credibility with leadership, and work with confidence across many areas of the organization.
- Analytical skills and comfort with data, ability to envision how data and analytics can enable sourcing's strategic goals.
- Source base knowledge including awareness of processes and events from product concept to delivery is desirable. Knowledge in the Apparel and Accessories (textile, trim, packaging, garment) or Footwear manufacturing and supply chain is preferred.
