Your role will be responsible for rebuilding next generation Portfolio Management and Trading global platform to enhance business workflow, straight through processing with exception based dashboard to improve user experience and manage large volume. You will deliver trusted market-leading platform in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you will conduct critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- Designs back-end design development for business platforms
- Leads with best practices and Agile framework, like Scrum.
- Collaborates with other team members in an Agile environment interacting with business owners and other technology teams.
- Participates in code reviews to ensure that all solutions are aligned to architectural specifications.
- Leads the development of new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging and changing business and project requirements.
- Mentors and onboard junior members of the team
- Supports application performance, uptime, and scale.
- Maintains high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
- Firsthand practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Expert in object-oriented analysis and design techniques and Rest APIs
- Direct experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL or other Database technologies including query optimization.
- Firsthand experience creating micro services using spring boot or spring framework.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Preferred experience working with Java, Springboot, Reactive programming, distributed cache, multi-threading, and AWS.
- Preferred experience with Agile framework
- Ideal candidate has a passion for business products and influencing the business tech space with innovative ideas and creative thinking.
- Preferred experience in Asset/Wealth management BUY side front office tech.
