Lead, Software Engineer (The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Newark, NJ):
Design, create, test, and deploy solutions across multiple technology domains. Lead and create customer-centric solutions that drive positive business outcomes, successfully delivering complex cross-functional projects by partnering with Enterprise Infrastructure and Architecture teams, among others. Foster an Agile environment - SAFE Agile. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain accountability. Deliver end to end solution using innovative approaches to complex design problems. Lead technical teams to deliver high quality products. Act as a change agent and champion engagement within SCRUM team by being positive, direct, and data-driven. Drive Engineering and Operational Excellence within teams.
Telecommuting permitted 100%. Candidate may work and reside anywhere in the U.S.
Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the development and design of complex multi-dependent business application systems; OR a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the development and design of complex multi-dependent business application systems.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

• Programming languages: Spring boot and AWS;
• Service implementation experience using microservice based architecture;
• Relational databases including PostgresRDS, DocumentDB, and data analytics;
• Building and delivering APIs and platforms for consumption at scale;
• Applying security concepts including authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature, SSL, web service proxies, firewalls and multi-protocol gateways; and
• Following Agile SDLC methodologies.
