Lead Software Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a lead software engineer between 15-20 years of hands on experience in coding and development and who is willing to build low latency, highly scalable applications for global payments

Responsibilities

• Participate in Story Pointing, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives.
• Develop initial concept and apply iterative changes based on feedback.
• Develop web applications using react framework and querying underlying data sources using API and with data access from both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML5, modern JavaScript frameworks and CSS/SASS.
• Write unit test cases for testing business logic and use TDD (test driven development)
• Work with Azure DevOps for maintaining source code, Team City for builds and Octopus Deploy for deploying builds in the right environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial markets or a strong desire to learn.
• C#/.NET technology stack

• Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Front-end development frameworks (React), Cloud services (Microsoft Azure), Message queue-based designs/implementations, Git code repositories, Reporting services (Power BI), FIX protocol.
• Proficiency with JavaScript (ES6) or TypeScript
