Lead Security Technician

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, or related equipment, followingblueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.

- Install electrical components, equipment, or systems. Position equipment using hand tools,power tools, or heavy equipment.

- Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.

- Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.

- Repair electrical circuits or wiring.

- Pull and accurately label cables to connect equipment.

- Examine systems to locate problems, such as loose connections or broken insulation.

- Inspect equipment to locate or identify electrical problems.

- Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, or other security features to ensure proper functioning or to diagnose malfunctions.

- Inspect safety equipment to ensure proper functioning.

- Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to

determine materials requirements and installation procedures.

- Determine types of equipment, tools, or materials needed for jobs.

- Plan work procedures.

- Document operational activities.

- Consult with clients to assess risks and to determine security requirements.

- Confer with customers or users to assess problems.

- Ability to drive company vehicle to job sites

- Follow instructions of PM or Lead tech and complete assignments in timely manner

- Ability to communicate through Email and other various electronic means.

- Certs: DMP, Amag, Ccure, Software House, Openpath, Openeye, Alarm.com, Eagleeye, Brivo, Feenics, RS2, AXIS, Wisenet, Avigilon,

- Experience 3-5 years in the security field.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
