Our new Lead Security Architect Engineer will be responsible for leading activities for core functionality, awareness, security, and performance of Azure-based IT architecture.

You will be challenged to work strategically and tactically  to ensure security best practices are maintained and proper upgrades and maintenance are correctly deployed enterprise wide.
  One minute you will be assessing Security Architecture for a new company device or platform.
The next minute running an agile meeting with your team to set focus for the week. 
And the next minute communicating security risks to cross-functional partners.
Regardless of the task, it's critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you'll work with diverse teams across  the organization.

Where you'll be planted:
This is a remote position, however the ideal candidate will be located in the Eastern or Central time zones.
To be blunt, this role will be about:
    • Managing and leading the DevOps team, leading future IT infrastructure requirements and staff to meet the planned needs of the organization.
    • Coordinating with internal and external partners to drive changes and improvements.
    • Anticipating, tracking, and clearly articulate risks, changes, opportunities, implications, and options, as well as offer sound judgement and recommendations for infrastructure components and security ensuring best practices and industry standards are met.
    • Defining enterprise architecture strategies, principles, vision, standards, tools, and methodologies.
    • Being proficient with management of Office365 functionality and security mechanisms, including Email, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrivecloud services.
    • Maintaining and providing oversight for the Azure Active Directory system and how it is integrated with and into 
    • Taking an active role as a part of the Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) 
    • Performing Azure cloud services analysis, problem solving, and basic forensics type review for user activities and service functionality 
What we're high on...We value diverse skillsets, talents, and experiences. To be successful in this role we know you'll need:
    • 5 or more years working with Azure infrastructure required
    • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification required
    • Prior experience working with Agile development methods and practices
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
    • ITIL, CISSP or comparable certification 
    • Prior experience with tenant migrations or federations involving Azure to Azure or Google Workspace to Azure 
    • Awareness of HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST 800-171or comparable knowledge 
    • Awareness of SOX compliance measures and best practices and experience working with a publicly shared company 
    • Ability to communicate complex concepts with both technical and non-technical audiences 
    • Ability to be self-motivated and create goals based on data and user experiences

$95,000 - $105,000 a year
The salary range provided is an estimate based on the skillset we're looking for in this position. There are multiple factors that determine where a candidate falls within this range; the largest factor is usually the candidate's professional experience and educational qualifications if applicable.
