Specialized experience at GS-12: Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as: Performing a wide range of Quality Assurance planning or analysis functions; recommending solutions to Quality Assurance issues involving production facilities to assure mission material meets established requirements; providing Quality Assurance support to team members; and perform Quality Assurance functions in pre/post award activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
