Responsibilities for this Lead QC Inspector position include, but are not limited to:
- Oversees QC Inspectors, inspections of components, and completed assemblies at various phases of production and throughout the manufacturing processes.
- Documents nonconforming material; clearly and accurately.
- Interprets engineering drawings and schematic diagrams.
- Assist with the creation of inspection criteria.
- Tests and/or inspects dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics per written procedures.
- Prepares and maintains Quality records for review of completeness and accuracy to meet both internal and external expectations.
- Records tests and inspection results.
- Evaluates data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from procedures.
- Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
To be considered for this Lead QC Inspector position, you: - AA degree in a technical field or combination of education and experience, 5 years of experience
- IPC 600 or IPC 610 certified
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to use measuring devices like multi-lens, stereo microscope, micrometers, calipers, Thread and Pin gauges, SmartScope, Profilometer, and Multisensor Measurement Systems.
- Familiar with federal and industry standards and best practices
- Blueprint reading capabilities
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Teamwork and collaboration
