Job Description
Teletronic Division of DCX-CHOL Enterprises is currently seeking an experienced full time Quality Inspector with the following qualifications and experience:
Plans, directs, and performs quality assurance activities necessary to ensure product and process compliance with specifications and contract requirements. Responsible for developing and guiding quality assurance program plans, inspection plans and inspection equipment requirements in both manufacturing and development processes. This position provides leadership and guidance in the area of quality assurance to the Quality Inspector team.
Core Functions:
• Provide leadership and guidance for quality assurance team of up to 10 Quality Inspectors.
• Maintain QMS to AS9100C, regulatory, & contractual requirements.
• Participate and support internal audits for all functional areas covered by the Quality Management System.
• Assure customer specifications and inspection records are properly maintained.
• Performs with and directs the QC Inspectors.
• Provide Quality Control checks of Finished Products and accompanying documentation prior to closing work orders as determined by company policies and procedures; accurately records appropriate inventory transactions.
• Handles training and coaching, individual and group performances, and day-to-day responsibilities for the QC group, keeping the flow of product moving
• Productivity: Meets personal and team expectations for productivity. Works cooperatively with others to meet goals, solve problems or suggest improvements. Has and applies proficient skills and knowledge for all functions within the department.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
• High School diploma
• Minimum 3 years of hands on inspection experience in Aerospace using established standard visual, electrical, and mechanical inspection procedures
• Working knowledge of AS9100 standards, 3 years of experience in AS9100 quality system
• Experience with source inspection
• Experience with standard quality tools
• Excellent skill in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Excellent skill in reading mil-specs, government contracts and requirements
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
TAR REQUIREMENTS:
