Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the development of detailed schedules, in Primavera P6, from cradle to completion in alignment with customer requirements. (i.e., project/contract milestones, design, procurement, manufacturing, installation and close out)
- Generate graphical reports using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel for both internal and external customers
- Provide consulting support to technical work scope owners by analyzing program plans to help develop proposal and preliminary schedules
- Act as the scheduling point of contact in audits and program reviews
- Participate in project meetings, schedule follow-up meetings representing both project and planning interests
- Evaluate project schedule and progress for validity and accuracy of project and resource requirements
- Provide weekly/monthly accurate and realistic assessment of project schedules, identify, and report problem areas, work with the project and engineering teams to track solutions and corrective actions
- Constantly monitor OTD (On Time Delivery) performance and objectives per schedule and work with project team to reach project milestones successfully
- Create and update scheduling procedures and standard work within the operations team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project planning
- Working knowledge Primavera P6
- Experience with analyzing schedules for quality in their construction
- Must be proficient in MS Office Programs
Desired Characteristics
- Familiarity/comfort in developing, managing and analyzing cost- and resource-loaded schedules. Knowledge of EVMS ad benefit
- Demonstrates proficiency in efficient and effective schedule analysis
- Experience in Power Conversion business and knowledge of products
- Understanding of systems/project engineering concepts and practices
- Organized and self-motivated with excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple shifting priorities while adhering to deadlines.
- Ability to interface with customers, customizing planning activities according to specific needs and requirements
- Knowledge of SAP
