The HTF Project Engineering team has an immediate opening for LeadProject Engineer to lead test and data acquisition planning for a major enginedevelopment program.  In this role, you willbe responsible for developing and implementing the engine test plan for thedesign, development and certification of a new gas turbine engine.  You will partner with world class engineersto develop test objectives, hardware and data requirements; plan for internaland external test capacity; plan and develop test assets in support of thosetests, and lead the development of an integrated engine test plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and develop an integrated development and certification test plan for a new engine development program. 
  • Lead discussions with module leads to develop test requirements; coordinate with the laboratory to ensure adequate capacity and appropriate test timing to meet program deliverables. 
  • Coordinate requirements development and engineering program support for engineering capital programs in support of the new product development program. Monitor progress, and ensure programs remain aligned with the program schedule.
  • Lead a cross-functional team, inclusive of the laboratory and external suppliers, to specify and drive development and procurement of special test equipment, instrumentation and data acquisition equipment.
  • Work with external suppliers as needed to define and align external test capacity.
  • Estimate, plan and execute complex work packages in support of new product development programs.
  • Manage cost accounts analyze budgets, provide forecasts and track earned value.
  • Develop and manage schedules and milestones. 
  • Drive Agile program planning and execution.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent sciences or engineering-based degree.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
