Job Description Summary
The Lead Program Integrator (LPI) is a critical role in Magnetic Resonance's (MR's) Program Management and Integration organization, or Project Management Office (PMO). This LPI will specifically be aligned with one of MR and Imaging's most critical programs in our Path to Leadership initiative.
The LPI is responsible for leading the New Product Introduction (NPI) development process by driving day-to-day execution, planning, control, and completion of program deliverables. The LPI is responsible for developing product cost and quality targets and strategies that ensure the program will deliver to business case requirements. The LPI leads a cross-functional team to ensure product performance, quality & regulatory compliance, manufacturability, serviceability, safety and reliability for the product launch.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Plans resources and materials for timely program execution.
  • Drives the milestone deliverables for the program and is responsible for closing the milestone and its action items.
  • Leads the design transfer activities for the program.
  • Drives the reliability deliverables for the program by working with systems and reliability engineers.
  • Plans EPICs and themes (in the Agile Framework) for the program in consultation with the program manager.
  • Works with the system, subsystem/platform and service leadership teams to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with the necessary features to delight internal and external customers.
  • Delivers on the resulting plans and day-to-day activities within the program execution framework, integrated into the overall program plan.
  • Identifies, plans and tracks integration steps (who, what, when).
  • Identifies and assesses program risks or issues, develops contingency plans and tracks mitigations.
  • Establishes mechanisms to ensure good communication and execution among all team members and other business leaders.
  • Establishes cost target baselines and program progress of product (ICV, OVC, CCP) and service related (I&W, IBOW) cost elements of a new MR system offering.
  • Ensures that program cost management activities are synergistic with overall MR product and service productivity initiatives, leveraging common tools and synchronizing project efforts to maximize overall impact for the MR business.
  • Effectively communicates all aspects of NPI product cost status to the program core team and the business team on a weekly basis.
  • Ensures the regulatory deliverables are met by working with regulatory team and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent (defined as High School Diploma/GED and 4 years progressive experience as an engineer or scientist within the appropriate field of study).
  • 6+ years' experience in engineering or project leadership within a manufacturing, development or research environment, including previous leadership of a global and/or virtual team.
  • Demonstrated ability to build lasting cross-functional relationships, including strong influential and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI/PRDx) cycle and cross-functional interdependencies.

Desired Characteristics
  • Masters Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
  • Knowledge of the Agile Framework as a development methodology.
  • Demonstrated experience with NPI ISO and regulatory compliance processes and design history files.
  • Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical and program risks/issues.
  • Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program risks.
  • Knowledge of GE Healthcare engineering tools and processes (MyWorkshop, PPM).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments.
  • Ability to develop unique concepts/solutions for complex products.
  • Project leadership experience within manufacturing, development or research environments in the healthcare field.
  • Demonstrated broad exposure to HW/SW/systems design and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc).
  • Self-starter, energizing, results-oriented, and able to multi-task.
  • Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills.
  • Global, multi-site project experience.
  • Graduate of GE HealthCare's Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP).
  • Note:
