Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for you to lead the product and strategic direction of our robust auditor testing tools within Workiva's Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions! Our clients navigate a constantly evolving landscape, seeking optimal ways to proactively address potential threats to their businesses. In this role, you'll be instrumental in defining the product strategy, orchestrating the product roadmap, and spearheading delivery efforts for an expanding suite of capabilities, aimed at helping auditor efficiency. As the Lead Product Manager, you'll shape and propel the end-to-end product vision and strategy within your domain. Collaborating closely with customers, you'll delve into their requirements and challenges, strategically prioritizing feature development and releases to deliver substantial and measurable business value. Your ideas will manifest into tangible products that our customers utilize and cherish daily.

Forge robust partnerships across diverse engineering, design, project management, and business teams, collaborating closely with senior leaders in product development and throughout the organization. Championing the needs of our customers across the company, you'll maintain an exceptionally high standard for developing top-quality products.
What You’ll Do:
  • Lead strategic planning and execution within the GRC solution, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.
  • Align vision and strategy with business KPIs such as revenue growth, win rate, retention, partner enablement, and CSAT; Deliver and evangelize to senior audiences.
  • Lead decision-making and prioritization of market needs, product enhancements, and improvements based on customer feedback, market research, and industry trends.
  • Conduct product discovery to understand the problem space and identify opportunities and validate requirements.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering to translate product requirements into user-friendly and scalable solutions.
  • Drive the product development process, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality releases.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the GRC solution, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Monitor product performance, collect user feedback, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and drive product optimization.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging for the GRC solution.
  • Stay abreast of governance, risk and compliance requirements, ensuring the product meets the necessary standards.
What You’ll Need:
Minimum qualifications:
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Proven success driving product strategy and product releases in a comparable environment
  • The ability to influence and inspire across multiple teams and job functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in enterprise software
  • Experience in the governance, risk and compliance domain
  • Experience in audit or audit software a plus
  • Knowledge and experience working in an Agile development environment a plus
  • Undergraduate degree with a preference for an MBA
Working Conditions & Travel
  • Ability to travel to meet with customers and/or key stakeholders, product teams in other Workiva office locations (up to 20%)
  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.
How You’ll Be Rewarded:
  • Salary range in the US:
$142,000.00 - $241,000.00
  • A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
  • Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
  • 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
