Salesforce Inc. seeks Lead Product Designer in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Leads the design work for Slack's Platform Experience. Slack's platform builds and supports complex integrations that connect users, third-party applications, and use-case-driven workflows to Slack. Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering partners to represent the design team, facilitate design discussions, and give feedback in planning and product channels for the platform work-stream. Leads planning for Slack platform and developer experience tools such as app submission to define your features and contribute to the overall direction of your product area. Defines and aligns on platform-critical features by understanding the developer and how those features help partners such as Google, Amazon, Atlassian, and IBM. Understands the company goals, makes connections between overarching initiatives and Slack's platform, and contributes to it by collaborating with design and engineering leadership. Partners with engineering, developer relations, and partners engineering teams to ensure that design implementation is of high-quality by doing designs reviews, technical reviews as well as product reviews with cross-functional decision makers. Uses, contributes, and evolves the Slack design system to designs user flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity visuals for product features. Leads, manages, and solicits feedback from peers in Slack's platform across multiple feature teams, including other Product Designers, engineers, and teammates in product team. Interview new Product Designers and actively advise on our design hiring process. Participates in marketing or other supporting material such as videos, speaking at multiple conferences every year, informational graphics. Monitors communication channels such as support tickets, User Research findings, and feedback analyses. Tracks the impact of Slack products to iterate and refine as needed to deliver optimal value. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program design or two (2) years of experience in the job offered.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) User Experience Design; (2) Prototyping; (3) User Research; (4) Figma; (5) Adobe Creative Suite; (6) Flinto; (7) InVision and Craft; (8) Sketch; (9) Principle; and (10) Framer. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Special Skills can be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievement, or professional experience.
Salary: $156,800.00 - $237,200.00 per annum.
