Key Responsibilities
- The Lead Infant Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment for infants as well as assisting them to explore and discover in the classroom environment.
- Use understanding of child development as the foundation of work with young children.
- Effective pedagogical approaches include developmentally appropriate practices along with the use of research-based curriculum and PA early learning standards to create meaningful learning experiences for children.
- Create a safe and fun learning environment.
- Develop and maintain respectful and collaborative relationships with families.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding children and families.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Maintain complete and accurate records
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in ECE or related field including 18 ECE required. Bachelor’s Degree in ECE preferred.
- Must have a minimum of two years of documented experience working with children.
- All applicants must present at the time of hiring satisfactory PA child abuse, PA clearance and original FBI clearance prior to be hired along with completed health assessment and TB screening.
