Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for the initial setup of the project, the vetting of subcontractors, and support the role of the Estimator from start to finish. It is vital to the successful completion of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Setting up each project in Isqft with all details
Arrange for the project kickoff, scheduling, and new user orientation for subcontractors
Print all vital documents for review including: plans, blueprints, specifications, etc
Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors, identify qualified individuals and companies, and their scope of work
Maintains call logs for all subcontractors bids and contracts
Ability to handle a large volume of outbound calls
Maintain history for all BCCM clients and projects
Prepares historical data by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data on past projects and national trends
Arrange meetings with the Estimator to support the successful completion of the project
Ability to support multiple projects at the same time
Maintains professional and technical knowledge of the construction industry
Ability to maintain bid deadlines
Qualifications:
Relative job experience in a construction environment
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in direct construction estimating experience ability to work independently and with a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite software products
Excel knowledge
Isqft software preferred
Plan Swift Digital Takeoff software knowledge preferred
