Lead Patient Service Associate-Er (Pt) Einstein Jefferson Health- Phila Campus

Shift hours are 10a-10p every other weekend (Sat and Sun)- Einstein Phila Campus- ER Registration
Primary Function:
This position is responsible for the supervision of the Emergency Department Registration area at the Medical Center during their shift. Serves as a liaison between physician, physician staff, community, billing office, Care Management, Administration, hospital staff and HCA staff. Coordinates and ensures adherence to hospital financial and admitting policies. Ensure timely registration, Phreesia, iPas, copay collection and all hospital policies are being followed. Complete any reports or functions assigned. Portrays a positive image for hospital and registration department using focused customer service
Qualifications
Education/Training/Experience:

• 3-5 years of Patient Access or Patient Accounting experience required
• 1-3 years of those experience in a lead role preferred
• Demonstrates organizational, leadership, customer relations and excellent computer, oral and written communication skills required.
• Proficiency with automated insurance verification software, Health Pay 24, AHI, and Patient Management Systems (Cerner) preferred.
• High School diploma required
