Lead Painter / Painting Foreman

Duties

• Manage a painting crew of 3-5 painters to complete residential painting tasks, including production painting and touch-up painting.
• Maintain the highest quality standards for all work performed by the painting crew.
• Coordinate with the selections team regarding paint and stain selections.
• Coordinate with project managers for scheduling jobs to be completed.
• This is a working position, so expert-level painting skills and knowledge are also a requirement.

Experience

• Excellent, proven personnel management abilities.
• Proven experience as an expert painter.
• Proficient in all forms of residential painting and staining techniques.
• Ability to manage a crew schedule and coordinate with project managers.
• Ability to manage employees without drama and maximize production.
• Expert-level painting skills such as faux finishing and venetian plaster are a big plus.

We are looking for an expert Painter / Painting Foreman to join our team. The foreman will manage the day-to-day tasks of the painting crew and maintain the highest standard for all work performed. The foreman will coordinate with project managers to schedule jobs and maximize the production of the crew. Although time will be spent in management of the crew, the foreman will personally perform touch-up painting and painting tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will also have have expert-level painting skills such as faux finishing and venetian plaster.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
