Lead Operations Specialist

The Lead Operations Specialist performs a wide variety of operational tasks related to loan administration and/or processing, from minor to complex processes or functions. Takes accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure. Tasks require coordination of information among various operational areas and customers. Utilizes multiple system applications. May work in multiple areas of department.
What you will do:

• Receiving and reviewing incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed, entering transactions, verifying accuracy, preparing, editing, distributing, and/or correcting specialized and/or complex documents.
• Responsible for the accurate completion of assigned data entry to various bank systems for the completion of the job function. Provides excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
• Identifies and resolves issues within assigned scope. Attends and participates in meetings as required. Organizes and completes work accurately in accordance with established measures/deadlines and assigned goals. Performs all other job duties as assigned.
• Thorough knowledge of job skills, company policies, procedures and bank regulations to complete a wide range of transactions. Has ability to process all loan operation transactions. Researches non-routine inquires.
• Typically works on routine tasks, but is able to work on more complex assignments/transactions with little direction. Exercises good judgment. Has a limited role in decision-making.

Who you are:

• Comprehensive knowledge of bank operations and banking regulations in related functional area. Must be fully cross trained in applicable operations processes. Working knowledge of personal computers, including word processing and spreadsheet software programs required.
• Preferred minimum 5 or more years experience in operations of a financial institution. Advanced knowledge in bank operations and regulations. Must be fully cross trained in all operation processes. Advanced knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software programs required.
• Extensive knowledge of state and federal compliance regulations relating to ATM and bankcard activities, Bank policies and procedures, and the Bank's products and services
• Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings
• Organizational and time management skills - Prioritizes and plans work activities for self and others; uses time efficiently; ability to multi-task and maintain strong attention to detail.

Pay Range: $24.50-30.43 an hour
Final compensation package will be determined by the work experience, education, and/or skill level of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
