Lead Operations Engineer
Edifecs, Inc.
Bellevue, WA
Job Duties: Provide technical support to enterprise clients related to technical and operational aspects of the products. Provide mentorship and task guidance to Product Support staff. Partner with product support and development teams as necessary. Assist development team with performance analysis and testing during release cycles for service packs, hot fixes etc. Answer email and phone requests for help from customers. Collaborate in virtual teamwork with other Product Support staff. Host online troubleshooting and investigation sessions on customer's production environments. Deliver a consistent, responsive and satisfying customer experience with each contact. Collect all necessary problem details from customers to be able to effectively see the problem to resolution. Successfully reproduce customer issues in a controlled test environment. Telecommuting available.
Job Requirements: Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in product support, including:
  • 5 years of experience analyzing software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints;
  • 5 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing software integration patterns and customized business enterprise service bus (ESB) using SoftwareAG webmethods, MWS, SOAP/REST Webservices, Native WM messaging & JMS, IBM Kennexa/BrassRing, SAP Hana, Oracle 11g on Unix, Solaris and Windows;
  • 5 years of experience working with Java, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB), WebSphere, Java Scripts, HTML/DHTML, XML/XSLT;
  • 5 years of experience developing and directing software system testing procedures, programming and documentation; and
  • 5 years of experience providing incident/ SR/ bug fixes and fine tuning system performance.

Alternate requirements: Master's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in product support, including:
  • 3 years of experience analyzing software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints;
  • 3 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing software integration patterns and customized business enterprise service bus (ESB) using SoftwareAG webmethods, MWS, SOAP/REST Webservices, Native WM messaging & JMS, IBM Kennexa/BrassRing, SAP Hana, Oracle 11g on Unix, Solaris and Windows;
  • 3 years of experience working with Java, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB), WebSphere, Java Scripts, HTML/DHTML, XML/XSLT;
  • 3 years of experience developing and directing software system testing procedures, programming and documentation; and
  • 3 years of experience providing incident/ SR/ bug fixes and fine tuning system performance.

Experience may be gained concurrently.
Note: The expected base pay range for this position is $85,862 - $164,407 per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, and experience.
