Job Description
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing and developing medium-to-large scale, high performance, and multi-tier applications. Candidate’s will be required to create applications from scratch, configure existing legacy systems and provide user support. The .NET developer's duties include sourcing project requirements from business users, deciding on the most appropriate software solutions, and ensuring that development is error-free. Please note this job is in-office only (Westchester NY/Greater NYC area), remote applicants need not apply.
Responsibilities for Net Developer
- Write clean, scalable code using React, node.js, and .NET programming languages
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding web apps and api’s
- Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture
- Use and adapt existing web applications for apps
- Coordinate with business users and other developers
Qualifications for Net Developer
- 5 years of development experience using C# .NET. Strong Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)
- Strong SQL Server/relational database experience.
- Experience with front end frameworks and languages: React.js, Blazor, HTML5/CSS3
- Experience developing enterprise level RESTful api’s.
- Experience with Cloud technologies and creating highly available/scalable api’s: Azure function apps, AWS Serverless Functions (any Docker experience is a plus)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Ability to work with business users to determine needs and documenting requirement.
- Able to work well in a team setting
