Job Summary and Qualifications

We are currently seeking a Lead Monitor Technician to join our team. As our Lead Monitor Tech you will perform a variety of duties including providing an oversight of the operations of the Telemetry Unit and resolve any concerns related to Telemetry capacity. 

Your tasks and responsibilities may include:

• You will be responsible for departmental processes supporting record keeping and observation of telemetry monitoring.

• You will report all changes in heart rate/rhythm to appropriate nursing staff.

• Maintain Telemetry Supplies and monitor equipment for upgrades.

• Schedules personnel to support staffing needs. 

• You may assume 24-hour responsibility for the department in the absence of the manager.

• You will orient and mentor new staff members.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
