Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization:
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvement, and cost reduction.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase overall operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of process engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality, to ensure seamless integration of process improvements.
- Project Management:
- Plan and execute process improvement projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Work closely with engineering teams to implement new technologies and processes, driving innovation within the manufacturing platform.
- Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement robust quality control processes.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to ensure product quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that all processes comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols, working closely with the Health and Safety team to create a secure working environment.
Minimum Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a lead process engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5+ years of technical experience in a relevant professional role.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
