Lead, Kids Ministry

You are responsible for creating a welcoming, safe and fun space where kids can learn what it means to be real with themselves, God and others.
SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruit, onboard, train and support volunteer teams and "team leads" who will engage children through music, teaching and activities each weekend.
• Ensure that family check-in is welcoming, simple and quick.
• Create and maintain a safe, fun and developmentally appropriate environment for kids and a prepared, organized and clean environment for team members.
• Oversee and prepare a safe and loving environment during weekend services for babies through preschoolers.
• Oversee and prepare an exciting and engaging weekend service for elementary students.
• Coordinate with network staff and other campuses on overall curriculum planning and development.
• Support and equip team members to engage parents
• Function as point person for any midweek programing, childcare and extracurricular activities and events throughout the year (e.g. Sports Week and Real Adventure Team).
• Build and equip a team of student and adult volunteers to do what you do.
• Support the vision of the broader campus ministry by collaborating on a variety of campus related activities and events.
• Assist the campus staff with congregational engagement, discipleship, and general ministry support.

• High-energy, teachable, organized, good with kids and parents, receptive to feedback, works well in a collaborative environment, a good communicator, resourceful and innovative.
• Willing to engage and disciple both within their teams and people outside their direct ministry.
• A motivator and a team builder.

• Are a leader of leaders in your role and communicate the truth of the gospel in simple and clear ways.
• Desire kids, parents, and team members to experience the highlight of their week at Sandals Church.
• You have relationships with kids and grown-ups alike at home.
• Are well-organized in your personal and professional life while maintaining a schedule that allows time to care for others when the need arises.
• Run head-on after a challenge and are able to adapt when change is necessary.

• Pay Range: $17-$22 per hour
• We will provide a pay rate that is within our compensation structure and that fits a candidate's qualifications and experience for the job. A wage range posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage for a job offer.
