Infosys is seeking a Lead Kafka Consultant with Integration platform experience in Kafka, Apache Camel, Rabbit MQ and Active MQ. As a Lead Kafka Consultant, you will primarily be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and apply the technical proficiency across the different stages of Software Development Life Cycle including Requirement Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, design, development and Production support for Kafka applications and platform support. You should be a self-starter and keen learner and you will be responsible to work closely with the architects and analysts in reviews and technical issue resolution within the committed SLAs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Atleast 7 years of relevant information technology experience

- Location for the position is Dallas,TX. This position may require travel and/or relocation to client/project location.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Integration development using Kafka, Apace Camel, Rabbit MQ, Active MQ platforms
- At least 3 years' experience in Kafka Development & Support
- Experience in driving technology and business planning sessions, creating technology strategy documents and contributing to the technology roadmap.
- Knowledge on Kafka Cluster Configuration: Configure and optimize Kafka clusters for performance, fault tolerance, and scalability
- Experience in implementing and managing Kafka topics, partitions, and replication.
- Experience in Support projects to handle Integrations/Application support and Platform support.
- Good hands on in Kafka Platform Admin activities
- Experience in Incident Resolution, handling Service Requests, Problem Management, Issue resolution, Trouble shooting, Root cause analysis, Bug fixing.
- Capable of managing team and mentor the team.
- Hands-on experience in designing, building, testing, debugging, deploying, managing APIs and integrations.
- Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
