ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Lead IT Client Services Support Technician is responsible for delivering excellent customer service in providing technical assistance to users (walk-in, email, chat or phone) with computer systems, hardware and software problems, issues and questions. The Lead IT Client Services Support Technician will investigate and troubleshoot issues with end-user hardware, software, networking, peripherals and conference room equipment.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Triage and troubleshoot technical issues for employee desktop/laptop (computing devices) and peripherals for Water Quality associates. Serve as first point of contact for employees seeking resolution to IT issues.
- Perform troubleshooting to identify and then correct user requests within Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframe.
- Setup, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade laptop/desktop/tablet computers and peripherals.
- Record user requests, troubleshooting and corrective actions within the WQIT Information Technology Service Management ("ITSM") tool
- Conduct Active Directory ("AD") administration.
- Support network (wired and wireless) connectivity within the facility.
ARE YOU QUALIFIED?
The ideal candidate has 3 years of IT technical support/helpdesk experience and is customer service focused. is a talented professional who can develop talent, foster innovation and deliver results.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including a positive attitude, professional demeanor and ability to communicate with your customers.
- Technical knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/8/7/XP) required.
- Windows 10 workstation installation and administration required.
- Knowledge of basic TCP/IP and networking required.
- Microsoft Office 365 troubleshooting required.
- Server-based system software knowledge preferred.
The salary range for this role is $26.00 - $38.00 hourly. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is bonus eligible.
