SalaryLead Forklift Operator
Purpose
The Lead Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring that our product is moved within our warehouse safely and efficiently by forklift operation, loading/unloading of our trucks with the loading team, and the maintenance of a robust and evolving inventory, with good housekeeping.
Pay
- Ranges between $20 - $25 per hour, based on production
- Paid Weekly
Duties & Responsibilities
- Precise forklift skills (maneuvering in constricted spaces)
- Ability to load, unload, stock, etc., utilizing forklifts and our custom-designed handling attachments for moving barrels
- Must operate the forklift safely and responsibly not to jeopardize equipment or employees.
- Assist implementation of the warehouse team’s daily schedule.
- Assist as needed to offload and receive incoming delivery trucks
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management
- Ability to work in a busy environment with minimal supervision -Accurately and cautiously move product/s within the warehouse.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-4 Years of Forklift experience are required
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to read and have basic math skills
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must be able to cooperate and work well with others
- Must be able to work overtime when required
