Form of workWe are seeking a Lead Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in Brooklyn, OH, 44144. The ideal candidate will have technical skills, including knowledge of electrical systems and safety, manual dexterity, and proficiency in particular systems. Fire Alarm technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire equipment. They test circuits, drill holes, repair security systems, diagnose technical issues, visit installation sites, and program security units.
Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair fire equipment
- Test circuits, drill holes, repair security systems, diagnose technical issues, visit installation sites, and program security units
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients
- Train and supervise junior technicians
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3 years prior experience doing trouble shooting and repairs
- Have or attain required State of Ohio Fire Marshall license
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to work off ladders, platforms and/or lifts
- Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
The Lead Fire Alarm Technician must have general physical agility and stamina to perform the full range of tasks involved in a complete installation. In addition to technical proficiency, a good candidate needs communication skills, as low voltage technicians work with people inside their homes and businesses.
