Lead Field Service Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to carry out preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning on flares and combustors. In addition, spend time when available to visit with existing and new customers to maintain and expand customer relationships. Job does include some overtime hours and overnight out-of-town stays (minimal) throughout the year. This position can be based out of East Texas or Southeast New Mexico.

Essential Job Functions:

• Must have the flexibility to work necessary hours to support the customer.
• Must be hands-on to replace combustor and flare ignition system components when repairs are needed.
• Capable of carrying out flare and combustor startups, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair with minimal supervision.
• Must be capable of accurately filling out field tickets and safety documentation as required by the customer.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• DOT & DISA Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of four (4) to five (5) years working in the oilfield environment.

Position Criteria:

• Flare and Combustor experience is a plus, but not required (Hero can provide necessary training on our products)
• Must have good mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to prioritize workload.
• Must be a self-starter and highly dependable with minimal supervision.
• Must have strong communication skills and is capable of effectively communicating with all levels of personnel.
• Results-oriented

• Climb steps and ladders.
• Lift 50 pounds or less
• Travel in service truck for extended periods or travel by airplane
• Position is subjected to weather elements and must be capable of performing tasks in all weather conditions in the region the work is being performed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
