We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fiber Optic Foreman to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a crew of fiber optic technicians on a variety of projects across the country. You will ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality installation of fiber optic cable infrastructure.

Please note: This position requires 100% travel. Candidates will be away from home for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a crew of fiber optic technicians on various telecom projects across the country
• Oversee all aspects of fiber optic cable installation, including aerial, underground, and inside plant work
• Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, safety protocols, and company procedures
• Conduct pre-job briefings to discuss safety protocols, task assignments, and project expectations
• Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and equipment operation
• Identify and troubleshoot installation issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, including daily logs, material usage reports, and quality control records
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment
• Collaborate effectively with other trades, engineers, and project managers
• Possess a strong understanding of telecoms infrastructure and network design

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience supervising crews on fiber optic installation projects
• Proven experience in telecoms and a strong understanding of fiber optic technology
• Experience working on civil and electrical construction projects (Required)
• Demonstrated knowledge of conduit installation, including EMT and rigid conduit types
• Ability to terminate CAT6 cables using RJ45 connectors and punch-down blocks
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
