Job description

Overview
The Client and Client Services team at Audacy powers all front-end experiences for our listeners. Keyword "experiences". Everything we do in our group relates to our mission to deliver a world-class audio experience, which includes music, podcasts, sports, news, and so much more!
We are currently looking for the right Lead Engineer to join us. We work together everyday to do things that matter, leave things better than when we started, and always keep our listener's experience in mind. You will have the opportunity to use your technical and leadership experience to work on mobile, web, smart speaker, and connected device apps, along with the next generation of these experiences. Our remote team has an inclusive culture with a commitment to work-life balance.
We are developers and we understand what developers need. You'll have the opportunity to contribute new ideas, learn new technologies, and architect new features. Friendly code reviews make us all better and you get to be a part of that by both reviewing code and having yours reviewed. We have fun doing what we do, and you will too!
The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based & remote individuals expressing interest in this position is $150,000 - $165,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

  • Assess daily and weekly team objectives and monitor output
  • Participate in technical and project-based communication with internal team members, external teams and stakeholders
  • Work on architecture designs for assigned features
  • Participate in tech spikes and feasibility studies to help flesh out new ideas and unknowns
  • Work with Jira, our bug tracking and project management software
  • Acquire new skills, broaden existing skills, and contribute to others through knowledge sharing and retrospectives - we are better together!
